Questions Presented:
If you were given the opportunity to spend one year of your life in the past or the future, what year would you select and why?
In 750 words or less, write a college level essay answering the above question.
The deadline for this competition is May 1, 2022. All required materials must be submitted and online submissions must be dated not later than May 1, 2022.
To be eligible for consideration applicants must be African American/Black o Caribbean American; be a US citizen or hold permanent resident status; reside in the Diocese of Long Island and be starting, or continuing to pursue, post-secondary education at an accredited college or university or advanced vocational/occupational school or trade union program
College scholarships of up to $5,000 per semester (maximum two semesters), and comparable amounts for vocational education and trade apprenticeship fees, will be available to award recipients through their college, university or occupational training institution. Successful applicants will demonstrate scholarly achievement, leadership skills, involvement in their communities and a commitment to continuing education.

Application Period: May 1 – July 15, 2022
One individual will be awarded a $50,000 scholarship paid out over four years. To qualify, students must first apply for the Family Scholarship. Both winners and nonwinners of the Family Scholarship are eligible to apply for the opportunity

The Competiello Family announces their annual scholarship through the Italian Americans in Government (IAIG), available to students of Italian heritage pursuing a higher education. The scholarship amount is $1,000. It is due by July 17, 2022.

The Italian Americans in Government (IAIG) is proud to announce the annual scholarship available to students of Italian heritage graduating any high in Nassau or Suffolk County in 2022.

THE 46TH ANNUAL BOSTON UNIVERSITY TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION
Trustee Scholars rank at the top of their classes and demonstrate exceptional leadership in their schools and communities. Scholarship recipients are selected by a faculty committee from a competitive pool of applicants after rigorous review. The Trustee Scholarship covers full undergraduate tuition plus orientation and mandatory undergraduate student fees for four years.
