Our Lady of Consolation Nursing Home
Our Lady of Consolation Nursing Home is looking for students to be Safety Companions. A Safety Companion is a volunteer who is assigned to one of our communities to walk the hall and possibly prevent a fall from happening by answering call bells and just keeping an eye on the residents in their rooms. They would get to know the staff on their community as well as the residents and patients. This is ideal for SJB students as they can visit around 3:15-3:30 PM.
To become a volunteer, one needs to complete an application, 2 references and a copy of their last physical to include their immunization history, PPD
done
within the last year and flu shot documentation.
In addition, there are other jobs besides Safety Companion.
