MORNING ANNOUNCEMENT

Thursday, March 12, 2020, Day 5

1. Attention all juniors! This is the last week that you'll be able to purchase tickets for the Junior Banquet. Ticket prices have gone up to $65 and will be sold throughout all lunch periods. You will not be able to attend the banquet without a ticket, so be sure to buy it this week if you have not already!
2. Attention SJB Van Goes: After school today there will be a meeting for the Van Goes who signed up to paint the mural for Catholic Charities. Although painting the mural will be postponed, we are going to move forward with making a design for the mural today after school. Please join Mrs. Luhmann for a meeting in the art classroom, room 110, right after school today. 
3. Mrs. McCoy's juniors should bring their Great Gatsby novels to class tomorrow!
4. Culinary club will not meet today. Please see Mrs Langone or Ms Sanchez for the club schedule.
5. The Teufel Family Foundation Scholarship is now available in the Guidance Office.  This scholarship is exclusive to St. John the Baptist students, so please pick up an application in the guidance office.   The deadline is April 24^th.
6. The Professional Nurses Assoc. of Suffolk County Scholarship is now available.  All seniors who will be entering an RN program are invited to apply.  The deadline is April 21^st.  See your counselor for an application.
