MORNING ANNOUNCEMENT

Wednesday, February 26, 2020, Day 6

1. Attention Juniors:  a representative from Herff Jones will be here on Monday, March 2nd,  to collect your Junior Ring Payment during all lunch periods.  Any questions please see Mrs. Murphy in the main office.

2. Art club is rescheduled for tomorrow and will meet in the library. 

3. Do you love science?  Are you interested in conducting your own experiment?  Apply to be part of the Genesis program! Applications are available in the Genesis Lab in the Library and are due by February 28

4. The Junior Class student council will be meeting this Wednesday after school in Room 325. If you cannot attend, please let Ms. Zabbia or Ms. Lionetti know.

5. The Junior Class will also be selling tickets to the Junior Banquet during advisory in Ms. Zabbia or Ms. Lionetti's rooms, and during periods D, E, and G in the cafeteria. For this week only, tickets are priced at $55, and will increase in price as we get closer to the banquet! Checks can be made out to St. John the Baptist DHS. See any junior in student council if you have any questions.

6. All students interested in Spring culinary club please sign up on the sheets in front of room 104 -Ms Langone or room 329 -Ms Sanchez by this Thursday.                           Club will start this Thursday.

7. Table Tennis Club will meet today at 3:00 in room 321 for all members and captains

8. Tickets for this year’s Spring Musical Production of THE WIZ will be on sale beginning tomorrow in the café during lunch periods. All tickets are reserved seating and are available for $15.00 each!

9. Thank you to those who have already completed your hearts which are now displayed in the cafeteria. For those who have yet to complete one or would like another you can pick one up in the main office. Any faculty and staff member who would still like to hand in a heart to help fill out your letter can also get another one. Please remember when writing on the heart write the random act of kindness on one side and your grade or faculty/staff on the other. We want to see if we can fill up all the letters by the end of February.  You can put the completed hearts in Mrs. Coon’s mailbox or give it to her in room 304 We appreciate all of your kindness!!
