Dear Parents,

The Tech staff at St. John the Baptist (SJB) has noticed an increase in issues with student Chromebooks, specifically related to screws coming loose on the underside of the devices.

We have included a graphic below for your reference, indicating the location of these screws.

The two screws closest to the hinge assembly are the most critical, as loose or missing screws in this area can lead to additional damage.

If you have a small screwdriver at home, we kindly ask that you tighten these screws at your earliest convenience. Alternatively, your son or daughter can stop by Mr. Schaefer’s office, located next to the weight room, to have these screws tighten or replaced.
