MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Friday, November 15th, 2019, Day 5
1. Seniors can sign up in the morning before Advisory to spend their study hall in the New Senior Space on the first floor. It is limited to 10 students per period, Seniors who sign up to “hang out” in the Senior Space can bring their lunch! There is a clipboard on the counter in the Main Office to sign up. You must do it in the morning, the day of. Please see Mrs. Gohn if you have any questions.
2. All students are reminded that they must lock their lockers. Students with unlocked lockers will be issued detention. If your lock is broken, you must purchase a replacement in the school store.
3. The Mathletes competition is canceled for Monday. We will be meeting in room 310 after school instead of traveling to West Babylon High School.
4. Boy and girl spot each other from across the room. Boy makes fun of girl. Girl gets angry at boy. Boy and girl both realize they are in love with each other. Sound familiar? Come see the play that launched a thousand romantic comedies, Elizabeth and Darcy (An Adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice) which will be presented by the SJB Drama Club on Thursday, November 21 at 7:00PM in the Dunne Auditorium. Tickets are only $5 and are available at the door.
5. Attention students wanting to complete Christian witness, plastic bottles need to be sorted after school ASAP. Make sure to check with your religion teacher if they will accept bottle sorting as hours. Please see Mrs. Martinez Murphy in room 112 if you are interested. Please remember to place your empty water bottles in the box near the vending machines outside of the cafeteria in order to recycle them rather than create more trash!
6. Mrs. McCoy's juniors should bring their Chromebooks to class today.
7. SJB Dance Company will be having a Bake Sale TODAY during all lunch periods. All items will be $1.00. Proceeds will help the Dance Company with their upcoming performance at Carnegie Hall. Thank you for your support.
