Dear Parents, Students, and Faculty:

St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School will be marching on Washington, DC on Friday, January 24th in a peaceful protest against the legalization of abortion resulting in the U.S. landmark decision of 1973, Roe vs. Wade.  We will be joining others from the Diocese of Rockville Centre in support of the Catholic Church’s Pro-Life stance on abortion.

There will be two coach buses leaving from St. John’s at approximately 5:30 a.m.  There is room for 100 marchers.  The cost of this day trip is $10.00 per person (does not include the cost of food).  This is a day trip and we will return at approximately 11:00 p.m.
