MORNING ANNOUNCEMENT

Monday, March 2, 2020, Day 3

1. Tickets for this year’s Spring Musical Production of THE WIZ are on sale in the café during lunch periods. All tickets are reserved seating and are available for $15.00 each!

2. Attention all SJB Seniors, Juniors and Sophomores as well as Faculty and Staff. The SJB/NHS Spring Blood Drive is now underway. Please fill out a blood application obtained by your Homeroom Blood Captains. There is a serious shortage of blood this year…please help donate…. Thank you for giving the gift of life. All students involved in the Blood Drive will have a free dress down day on March 11th.

3. The PWGC Scholarship for seniors who plan to major in one of the sciences, Chemical, Environmental, Engineering, etc.  The deadline for this scholarship is May 20th.  Please see your counselor for an application.

4.  Marist College is hosting a Learning Support Program Open House on Saturday, March 28th.  Pre-registration is required.  Please email www.accommodations@marist.edu or by phone 845-575-3274.

5.  Stony Brook University is announcing their annual Essay Contest.  This years’ theme is “Exploring the culture of Italian Americana through Italian American writers”.  Please see your counselor for more information.

6. The SJB Chapter of S.A.D.D. will meet on Tuesday at 2:50 in room 208. All are welcome!

7.  Students trying out for the Sailing Team should come by 208 to pick up their Blue Cards.

8. Any boy interested in playing lacrosse must attend a mandatory meeting today after school in the cafeteria 

9. Attention all Danceworks students: The Dance Concert is coming up in a few weeks.  All are expected to be at their dance classes from now until the show. An e-mail with ticket and other concert info will be sent out this week.  The order of the show will be posted today on the door of the Dance Studio. Carefully check where in the show your dances are as well as any quick changes you may have.
