MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Monday, January 27, 2020, Day 1
 

1. The stained glass club meets on Tuesday afternoons from 3- 4:30 in the fourth-floor conference room. Everyone will learn the Tiffany method of stained glass construction. No experience is necessary. We will provide all of the tools, supplies, instruction and snacks. All students are welcome to participate in this new project.  
2. Attention Mathletes and all interested in competing in the AMC math competition. We will be hosting the AMC competition after school on Thursday January 30 in room 310.  All are welcome to attend.  We will have a practice session on Monday January 27.
3. The Spring Musical invites everyone to join us on Thursday, February 6 to enjoy Pops & Pasta! an evening of dinner and music starring our students from the Musical Cast, Pit Orchestra and Crew to benefit this year’s production of The Wiz. The fun starts at 6 pm in the Café, tickets will be available in the Café beginning Monday, January 27 and are $15.00 each which includes both dinner and the show. Bring your friends and family to experience our talented performers and have a wonderful night of fun, song and food!
4. There will be a stage crew meeting today at 3:00 pm in room 202.
5. The Junior Class Student Council will be meeting this Wednesday, January 29th, after school in room 325. If you have any questions or cannot attend, please talk to Ms. Zabbia or Ms. Lionetti.
6. The Spanish club will have a bake sale on Wednesday January 29 during lunch periods to support a charitable organization in Latinoamerica. Please collaborate buying delicious treats. 
7. Juniors are reminded to sign up for their Junior Retreat ASAP!  Check your SJB email for a message from Mr. Costa that contains the link to sign up.  See anyone in Campus Ministry if you have any questions.  The last day to sign up for a Junior Retreat is this Thursday January 30^th! 
8. The Guidance Department has new scholarships for our Seniors to check out! The Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies Program is now accepting students in grades 7 thru 12.  The AES Scholarship, The Abbott and Fenner Scholarship, and the The Adrienne Miller Scholarship are also now available to all seniors.  Please see your School Counselor for more details.
