MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Monday, December 9, 2019, Day 1

1.    The Performing Arts Department has teamed up with Campus Ministry to run a coat drive for the Gerald Ryan Outreach Center of Wyandanch.  The outreach center is in need of coats for all ages (male & female) , hoodies, and sweaters. Donations can be brought to the Winter Concert Thursday December 12^th at 7pm.

2.    Fashion Club will be designing ugly sweaters today Monday December 9^th in Room 303. Please bring a sweater and anything you would like to decorate it with. All are welcome!

3.    The SJB Toy Drive will be going on all week.  Please bring any unwrapped toy for children ages 2-12 Collections bins will be in the back lobby.

4.    Attention students wanting to complete Christian witness, plastic bottles need to be sorted after school ASAP. Make sure to check with your religion teacher if they will accept bottle sorting as hours. Please see Mrs. Martinez Murphy in room 112 if you are interested. 

5.    Any student who would like to help at the Mass on Friday December 20^th or the Christmas Eve Mass should sign up in Campus Ministry.  We need readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers and Ushers.  

6.    The Spanish club will meet on Wednesday December 11 after school. All are welcome. 

7.    This is a reminder that we will be hosting a math competition after school today in the Flex Classroom.  All mathletes are expected to attend and new members are welcome!

8.    The Junior Class Student Council will be selling SJB Puravida bracelets for one final day in the back of the cafeteria tomorrow, Tuesday December 10th. The original bracelets are $6 and braided bracelets are $10. There is a limited supply so get them while you can! See Miss Lionetti or Miss Zabbia if you have any questions!
