MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Tuesday, December 3, 2019, Day 3
 

1. The Junior Class Student Council will be selling SJB Puravida bracelets in the back of the cafeteria on Thursday December 5th and Friday December 6th. The original bracelets are $6 and braided bracelets are $10. See Miss Lionetti or Miss Zabbia if you have any questions!

2. Please join Student Council today  at 3:30 for the Christmas Tree Lighting. There will be cookies, hot chocolate and Christmas carols.  Hope to see you all there! 

3. There will be a Tri-M meeting Tuesday at 3pm in the Music Room. This will be an important meeting as all upcoming Holiday Concert and LISFA procedures will be discussed. In addition to this, all members MUST submit their $20 membership dues by this meeting, no exceptions. 

4. Auditions for the Spring Musical, The Wiz, will be held on Saturday, December 14 beginning at 10 am. Full details are being posted on the Spring Musical’s Google Classroom page. Students who would like to be added to the Musical’s Google Classroom should see Mr. Whitfield in Room 202 immediately.

5.  The Spanish club will meet this Wednesday December 4 after school in room 120. All are welcome. 

6. Freshman and Sophomore student councils meet in rm. 107 afterschool today.  

7. Nora Cronin Mentors: Please check your SJB email for important information about the mentoring program. 

8. “The Performing Arts Department has teamed up with Campus Ministry to run a coat drive for the Gerald Ryan Outreach Center of Wyandanch.  The outreach center is in need of coats for all ages (male & female) , hoodies, and sweaters. Donations can be brought to the Winter Concert Thursday December 12th at 7pm.”

9. Information about the Alaska trip is now available in Campus Ministry. Forms and deposits are due back no later than next Friday December 13th.  See Ms. Maddalena with any questions.
