In choosing to attend St. John's, a student implicitly
acknowledges a willingness to comply with all dress/grooming code
regulations. Parents are asked to support and emphasize these policies
with their children.
This is a reminder for all students
and parents that any student not in compliance with the dress code and
grooming regulations must bring a note of explanation from their
parent/guardian and present it to an administrator in the Main Office
BEFORE the start of the school day. If the excuse is deemed acceptable,
students will receive a pass for the day. Any student who is not
in compliance with the school dress code and grooming regulations and
does not bring a note will receive a detention for being out of dress
code.
This includes students who do not have
their sweaters or the proper uniform shoes, as well as the gentlemen not
being clean shaven or wearing the uniform belt.
Please
refer to the 2018-2019 St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School Student Handbook for a detailed description of the student dress code.
